About the programme

Erasmus+ Youth funds youth exchanges, mobility for youth workers and youth participation projects. In Romania, applications go to the National Agency (ANPCDEFP), by the deadlines in the National Call. The 2026 National Call had, for mobility projects in Youth, deadlines on 12 February 2026 (accredited organisations, KA151, and standard KA152–KA155 projects) and on 1 October 2026, 12:00 Brussels time (standard KA152–KA155 projects for organisations without accreditation). On 29 September 2026 came the deadline for getting an Erasmus accreditation in Youth and the other fields. All have passed. The next deadlines will be in the 2027 Erasmus+ call; follow erasmusplus.ro. An 18-year-old can request a DiscoverEU pass separately (see the DiscoverEU programme).

What do these words mean?

Eligible

Eligible means you meet the programme's conditions. An eligible expense is one the programme can actually pay for; an ineligible one you pay yourself, even if the project is approved.

Applicant and beneficiary

The applicant is the one who asks for the funding. They become a beneficiary only after the request is approved and they sign the funding contract or decision.

Application session (call)

The period when the institution takes requests. Once it closes you can no longer apply, and sometimes the funds run out before the last day. A programme may have several sessions a year or only one.

Applicant's guide

The official document with all the rules: who can apply, which expenses count, which papers you need and how scoring works. If anything differs from what FonduRO says, the guide is what counts.
